Michael Bonfanti, CFP®, CPFA®

Founder & Financial Advisor at Bonfanti Investment Services, LLC

Michael Bonfanti founded Bonfanti Investment Services after beginning his career with a larger financial advisory firm. He wanted to build a practice where advice could remain personal, independent, and centered on long-term relationships with clients.

For more than 20 years, Michael has worked with individuals and families on financial planning, investment management, retirement decisions, and the many financial questions that tend to show up along the way.

As the practice has grown, so has the work. Michael also works with business owners and plan sponsors on the design, evaluation, and ongoing oversight of employer-sponsored retirement plans. The retirement-plan side of the business is a natural extension of the same approach: understand the situation, simplify what can be simplified, and help clients make informed decisions.

Michael is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA®), and has remained active in the Ascension Parish community through business, civic, church, and nonprofit leadership.

Michael lives in Prairieville with his wife, Misty, and their family. Outside the office, he enjoys LSU sports, spending time with family, and taking on home-improvement projects that he consistently believes will be much easier and faster than they actually are.
